Diatribe Records present violist and composer Garth Knox’s Wind Songs in a double bill with Sky Rivers. Wind Songs, sung by Zoë Conway and accompanied by Garth Knox on viola, brings together Irish poetic texts from the 9th century, traditional ballads and contemporary haiku by Gabriel Rosenstock, interspersed with new instrumental works for viola, viola d’amore and cello inspired by Irish traditional material.
Sky Rivers is a newly formed trio of sheng, flutes and saxophones, making their debut appearance at New Music Dublin 2026 and featuring the premiere of Chen-hui Jen’s River without shore, alongside solo works and trio improvisations for winds.
