Crash Ensemble presents an immersive programme of four premieres at New Music Dublin 2026, featuring works by Hannah Kendall, Tansy Davies, Jonathan Nangle and David Fennessy. Exploring intimacy, deep time and quiet intensity, the programme boasts the world premiere of Hannah Kendall’s Building a Burning House, a major new 20-minute work co-commissioned by Crash Ensemble, Miller Theatre (New York) and Ensemble Musikfabrik. Tansy Davies’ Lost Science, in an Irish premiere, invites audiences to descend into deep geological and mythic time, while Jonathan Nangle’s Sotto Voce and David Fennessy’s Jack, both commissioned as part of Crash Ensemble’s [REACTIONS] series, explore restraint, intimacy and near-silence through writing for electric guitars.
